9. When using various gas cylinders for gas supply and welding, the provisions of the safety regulations, i.e. safety supervision regulations for gas forming cylinders made from plastic molds and plastic machinery, shall be observed
II. Safety rules for calcium carbide
calcium carbide is commonly known as calcium carbide. Preventing fire and explosion accidents in carbide barrels, carbide warehouses and carbide crushing rooms is an important work of welding fire and explosion prevention
1. Reasons for the explosion and fire of calcium carbide
(1) the packaging is not tight, the calcium carbide is damp, and the explosive mixture of acetylene and air is formed in the space in the barrel
(2) calcium carbide in the barrel contains impurity ferrosilicon, which collides with each other during shipping and produces sparks; Or the method of opening the carbide bucket and the use of tools are improper, and sparks are generated by impact during operation
(3) storage "Kearney partner Li Jian said at the meeting that the ground of the calcium carbide site is too low, wet or leaking, splashing, etc., and the calcium carbide is decomposed by moisture
(4) calcium carbide powder accumulated in calcium carbide warehouse, acetylene station and calcium carbide crushing room failed to be cleaned and properly treated in time, which absorbed moisture in the air and decomposed
